A bold composition in fluid monochromatic paint splatters and molten crayon drippings on drawing paper. This piece explores the concept of ‘absence’ as its subject matter. The artist originally used heavy drawing paper as protection for the surface on which he was developing a separate artwork. The latter was removed after its completion, resulting in an impression of the discarded artwork. Through this piece, the artist formulates a question: is the art the process or the missing product?
