When we experience the loss of someone so important in our time, we lose a part of ourselves. Similar to that empty feeling of misplacing the last piece of a jigsaw puzzle, our emotional state weakens. But the image we remember, and the traces of that person left behind creates a deeper sense of what love truly is. A power of connection that goes beyond our senses.
This photo-collage is composed in camera by layering crystal glass and vintage stamps. The nostalgic nature of the stamps suggests a yearning for the past and moments we cannot physically have again. Layering crystal objects on top of the subject creates a barrier between our world and an unobtainable world.

At Home With Artist's
This past weekend I showed artwork at The Home Design & Remolding Show at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The "At Home With Artists" venue was a wonderful platform for local artists to talk about the diverse art districts within Miami and what type of artists you will find around the city. I had a fabulous time representing Wynwood, and talking about all the recent transitions the neighborhood has gone through, and how that has effected the artwork and community.
Art Basel 2015 Temporary Showcase with L'Atelier Ldep Gallery
Miami's Art Basel is always a blast! Getting to exhibit with fellow artist and good friend Michael Zimmerer was the cherry on the cake. I had the opportunity to showcase some pieces from my latest series "Icons" with L'Atelier Ldep Fine Art Photography Gallery. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it out for an evening of great art, laughs, and lots of wine!

Delicious Found Object Treats
John Pack is a South Florida Dessert Sculptor. The cleverness is that that his works don't melt away! They are created using found objects on the beach. Talk about a summer treat! David at Neox Image Photography captured the artist’s delectably delish dessert inspired work.
